Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has warned the administration of US President Donald Trump against launching any attack on his country, stressing that Tehran will meet with a strong response.
Zarif said in a tweet on Twitter today: “There is information indicating that (Israel) agents in Iraq are plotting to launch attacks on the Americans to drag Trump into the war under false pretenses.”
Addressing Trump, Zarif added: "Beware of the trap, the trap, and playing with fire ... because that will result in a similar strong reaction, especially against your close friends themselves."
And Zarif confirmed through a tweet on Twitter yesterday that Iran was not at any time calling for war, but on the other hand, it would not hesitate to defend its people, its security, and its vital and national interests.
