A police vehicle was set on fire last night (Sunday) in the locality of Yesod HaMaala.
A private vehicle parked next to the car was also set on fire during the incident.
Police forces and fire investigators from the fire department are investigating the case.
The incident joins other recent arsons, when last Friday two police vehicles were set on fire in Hatzor HaGlilit and Safed.
It was then suspected that this was an intentional arson.
The incidents occurred shortly after a series of raids by police and border guards on weapons caches in several centers in the north, including Nazareth, Ras al-Ain, and Tuba Zangaria.

The events on Friday began when a call was received at the police station about a police vehicle on fire in Hatzor HaGlilit, and shortly afterwards another report was received of a burning police vehicle, this time in Safed.
Just hours before the vehicles burned, police raided weapons caches in the north of the country in widespread action, as part of the fight against illegal weapons in the area.
