The Governorate of Damascus is working to develop and expand the services provided by the citizen service centers to facilitate the matters of the auditors, speed up the completion of their transactions, save time and effort for them, in addition to rehabilitating new centers to open them and other events to include various regions.

The Director of Citizen Service Centers in Damascus Governorate, Eng. Luay Alloush, stated in a statement to the representative of SANA today that during the past year, the citizen service centers in Damascus provided more than 617 thousand services in their fifteen centers, including 90,871 criminal record transactions and 384569 civil records, while the number of non-employee transactions reached 78,756. The temporary register reached more than 35 thousand transactions in addition to the completion of more than 27 thousand lease contracts and ratification of 12439 thousand transactions of external documents and other transactions indicating that revenues of more than 771 million Syrian pounds were achieved from all services provided.

Alloush pointed out that, during the past year, the citizen service center in the Mezzeh Services Department was expanded, a center was opened in the Directorate of Implementation of Legislative Decree 66 in Mezze, the electronic services center was opened and the work began, in addition to the inclusion of residential rental contracts services and the certification of documents from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Citizen Service Center in the lobby of the Finance Directorate in Damascus. And the compulsory insurance service for vehicles for the benefit of the Syrian Federation of Insurance Companies in the Kafr Sousa Center, indicating that work is underway to expand the centers of Al-Maidan, Al-Qanat, Al-Muhajireen and New Sham, and to create a center in the Al-Waroud neighborhood in the Dummar region.

Alloush explained that the electronic services center, which started providing its services to citizens on the twenty-fourth of last month, is a qualitative leap to reach the provision of services through the e-government portal and gave an added value to the objectives of the citizen service centers that work to reduce burdens and save time and effort for the citizen by issuing more than one service In one place, abolishing the routine and canceling the role of the mediator, indicating that the transaction mechanism depends on the citizen wishing to request a transaction by entering the center’s website, creating an account and a user name to create the required transaction, and transmitting it electronically to the Syrian Company for Electronic Payments to pay the amount required to complete the transaction and then be referred

Electronically to the electronic services center for implementation, where the citizen can request to hand over the transaction from the center he wants from the centers spread in the city of Damascus and affiliated to the governorate of Damascus, or send the transaction via mail.

The services available on the online portal of the citizen service centers according to Alloush include issuing a civil registration, marriage statement, divorce statement, birth statement, death statement, no sentence and non-employee, real estate registration, chart, surveyor statement, ownership, descriptions and sequencing of owners of real estate interests in Damascus, issuing a real estate record, ownership statement, sequence of owners and a certified copy For the seizure reference contract and its attachments from the temporary registry in Damascus and a financial clearance for individuals and companies assigned by the Damascus Finance Directorate.

Many services provided by the citizen service centers according to Alloush, including the civil, judicial and non-employee registry, lease contracts, administrative licensing, submission of objections and complaints, services of the Directorate of Real Estate Interests in Damascus, data of the Directorate of Urban Planning and Planning, authentication of documents from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, registration, delivery, amendment, certification, revocation of licenses, seals, and services of the Ministry of Industry in addition For the transactions of the Licensing, Supervision and Supervision Department and the Maintenance Directorate in the Citizen Service Center in Old Damascus and the mandatory insurance contracts for vehicles in favor of the Syrian Federation of Insurance Companies in the main center and Old Damascus Center.

The fifteen citizen service centers are distributed in Yusef al-Azma Square in the governorate building that includes the main center and in the old city of Damascus in the ward office and in the services departments of Kafr Sousa, Mezzeh and al-Muhajirin in the White Bridge, the country, the canals, the square, the lobby of the Damascus Finance Directorate, the temporary record in the Seven Bahrat, the burial office of the dead in Bab al-Musalla and the Directorate of Implementation of the Decree Legislative 66 in Al-Mazzeh and the Electronic Services Center, in addition to the new Al-Sham Center, which is being rehabilitated for its expansion and Jund Al-Assad area.
