And in the northern Hama countryside liberated from terrorism, the Suran Telephone Center was opened in 2020 after its rehabilitation from the damage it suffered as a result of terrorist attacks, and it has a capacity of 10,000 numbers, a large part of which has been put into service with the restart of internet portals in addition to the completion of the first phase of the telephone center The goodness of the Imam, which includes 2,500 lines out of 10,000 lines, and the network is currently being extended and connected.

In the Mahrada region, Asfar referred to the restoration of telephone services to a large number of villages and communities located in the vicinity of the region after defeating terrorism, through the rehabilitation of their networks and equipment such as the Sheer, Majdal, Kafrhood and Al Jadidah, with the installation of optical access units in a number of them.

Regarding the investment plan for the Hama Telecom branch to be implemented during the year 2021, the branch director revealed that there are expansion works in the town of Wadi Al-Ayoun, the city of Hama, and the Al-Shuhada neighborhood in Deir Al-Salib, as well as a plan to resume telephone service in Al-Jinan, Tremseh and Aqrab, with the rehabilitation of building the two divisions of Morek and Kafr Zeit.

Regarding the city of Hama, he announced that the "BDH" project will be implemented, which is a service that provides standard internet speeds and high quality and a platform for the rest of the other applications, indicating that the optical cable is against interference or other influences.

It is noteworthy that the total number of subscribers to the landline phone service in Hama is 315,000 subscribers, and 175,000 Internet gates have been installed, bringing the service providers to 60 percent of the total number of subscribers.
