A huge explosion took place today (Sunday) in the town of al-Qasr in southeastern Lebanon, near the Syrian border.
According to local media reports, seven people were injured in the blast and several others may have been killed.
According to some reports, the warehouse that exploded was used by smugglers of gas and fuel from Syria to Lebanon.
But other sources claimed that the blast took place in the warehouse of a family affiliated with the Hezbollah terrorist organization and that the blast may be related to the organization's activities.
Videos uploaded to social media reveal many flames and sub-explosions that took place at the scene of the explosion.
Surfers provided conflicting reports as to the cause of the incident.
