The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, affirmed that the resistance is the one that protects Lebanon and preserves its sovereignty and rights in the face of the Israeli enemy, stressing that it is the most important of betting that by killing, assassination, wars, siege and sanctions, it will affect the will and determination of the resistance.
In a speech on the occasion of the first anniversary of the assassination of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, the former commander of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, and “Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis,” the deputy head of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces and their companions today, Sayyid Nasrallah said: We in Lebanon cannot equate those who supported us with the position, money, weapons and stopping With us, he was martyred with us and he helped us liberate our land, and between those who conspired against us or who supported the Israeli enemy, we do not equate those who stood with us and those who say to the Israelis, “Do not stop the war before crushing the resistance.”
Sayyed Nasrallah also stressed that the killings and assassinations carried out by the Israeli occupation entity and the United States against the leaders of the resistance will not increase the peoples of the region except adherence to their rights and firmness in the face of aggressive schemes and said: Whoever bets that by killing, assassination, wars, siege and punishments, will harm the will and determination of the resistance and weaken it, he is delusional .
Nasrallah talked about the role of the two martyrs Soleimani and the engineer, their sacrifices, and their support for the resistance in the face of the aggressive plans that were hatched for the region and said that the assassination crime on this day of 2020 had great repercussions and effects, reminding the enormous sacrifices made by the martyrs.
Nasrallah explained that, contrary to the expectations of the Americans, the axis of resistance was able to "absorb this very big blow", as the Americans assumed that the situation in Iraq would collapse in their interest and that the axis of resistance would collapse upon the assassination of Lieutenant General Soleimani, but all this was dealt with and absorbed and said: We according to our culture, belonging and history, we know how We turn threats into opportunities and blood into a powerful impulse for resilience and more responsibility.
Sayyed Nasrallah reiterated that the United States, which claims to fight terrorism, was the one who created the terrorist organization ISIS to serve its plans in Syria and for the American occupation to return to Iraq.
