Amazing scene on Instagram Sunday night.
In a short video posted on her official account, Marlène Schiappa appears from behind, moving her hair in "slow motion".
A caption accompanies the sequence:
"Thank you Adriano & Vincent from 'AnS Brasil' for this straightening which repairs the hair and will therefore allow me to gain precious minutes before each morning".
On social networks, several Internet users immediately expressed their indignation, accusing the Minister in charge of Citizenship of promoting a lucrative business.
The post was quickly removed.
Faced with the controversy, Marlène Schiappa's cabinet was forced to clear mines on Sunday evening, assuring
L'Obs
that it was a
“false post”
- without however giving more details.
Marlène Schiappa has also made her Instagram account "private", an option that limits access to her subscribers only.
"We formally maintain the denial"
Still, several details perfectly visible on the video - such as the door to the room or the tree in the living room - are similar to other publications of the Minister.
What to maintain the doubt.
Questioned by
Le Figaro
, his entourage confirms however that it is a fake.
“We formally maintain the denial.
It is a fake and a press release from the Minister's lawyer will follow.
If we can avoid relaying this kind of thing which earned him a dozen insults ... ”
, we claim.
For their part, the managers of the company "AnS Brasil" assure
"not to have sent any product"
to Marlène Schiappa, without denying that the minister is
"a client, like any client"
.
If they say they are
"overwhelmed"
by this controversy, officials also admit
"hearing"
the questions raised by such a publication of a member of the government.
