We put aside for a moment the pursuit of checking out the new places that are opening and ordered from a fairly old place in the Carmel market - "Hashomer 1" • These are our impressions
Not in the picture: Lots of ambala

It is forbidden to sit in restaurants and even take a takeaway, so we went back to check deliveries around the country frequently, what is left?
This time we checked why everyone is excited about "Hashomer 1".
Yes, we know, it took us a while, the place exists and succeeds for a long time, but better late than never.
Half of the menu comes in challah, a very popular and sometimes annoying thing lately, but you'd be surprised, even with this simple dish you can do magic.
Without a doubt, the guard kebab in question was the best dish we tasted of all those shipped.
Making a good kebab may just seem easy, but it's an art.
From the choice of types of meat, through the spices to the degree of making, everything was very precise.
The upgrade for me in what was my favorite ingredient, especially when it's inside a challah - the ambala.
The combination of the ambala in Hashomer's kebab challah was just perfect, one of the best sandwiches in Tel Aviv today without a doubt, for me at least.
The starter was soft and tasty and the combination of all the ingredients created a winning dish.
Another sandwich that we tasted and would be more suitable for vegetarians was the Iraqi Arak, which contains a delicious vegetarian patty, an egg and here too, touches of ambala.
Not something we have not tasted before, but it is definitely a good dish.
Another interesting ingredient in the delivery was the chips.
On the face of it, this is just French fries, but not in this case.
This is an potato that comes in almost black, but does not even have a drop of burnt taste, insanely delicious, spicy and with a precise texture, it is recommended to attach to your next delivery from the fennel 1. The entrecote strips that came in one plate with how not, ambala, along with tomato sauce, potatoes and some vegetables , Were delicious, here too, not something we have not tasted before but totally worth ordering.
An important point for improvement in the field of packaging, which may seem petty but important to many diners.
The entrecote came in a plastic box, which has become less accepted in recent times.
Many restaurants have already moved to special cardboard packaging, to the attention of Hashomer 1 staff, who no doubt know how to make excellent food, even when it arrives in delivery.
