The spokesperson of the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, revealed the statistics of the air strikes carried out by the Saudi aggression on Yemen during the year 2020, reviewing the total military achievements made by the army and the popular committees on various fronts and at all levels, including the field of military industrialization, as part of the legitimate response to the continuation of Aggression.
Al Masirah Net quoted Saree as saying in a press briefing today, "Last year, the Saudi aggression launched more than 8,888 air strikes on thirteen Yemeni governorates, of which 8,478 were launched by warplanes and 410 raids by drones."
Saree pointed out that among the attacks and raids of the aggression are its continuous violations in the governorate of Hodeidah, which varied between artillery and missile strikes, attacks with light and medium weapons, as well as innovations, fortifications, raids and overflight, pointing to the heinous crime committed by the agents and mercenaries of aggression against women and children in the city of Hodeidah before days.
Saree explained that the air strikes launched by the aggression during the year 2020 led to the death and injury of hundreds of Yemenis in various regions, in addition to damage to the private and public property of citizens.
Regarding the harvest of military operations and the military achievements of the various units of the armed forces during the past year, Saree affirmed that the army and the popular committees carried out more than 974 military operations, including 309 offensive operations on various fronts and combat axes, as well as 623 raids on enemy sites and 42 infiltration operations that led to the liberation of areas Large in several provinces and inflicted great losses on the enemy's ranks and its equipment, not to mention that hundreds of mercenaries of aggression surrendered during the wide military operations.
He said, "The total of the enemy human losses were more than 15,366 between dead and wounded, including 6,467 dead and more than 8,899 wounded, in addition to the enemy's losses in equipment. The enemy's losses were documented in equipment by more than 1090, including a vehicle, an armored tank, and a bulldozer that were destroyed. And its corruption by the military units in our armed forces. ”
Saree indicated that the missile force in the Yemeni army carried out dozens of successful operations, which were represented by the launch of 253 ballistic and winged missiles, most of which targeted the Saudi rear and caused great damage to the enemy, especially in the vital installations that were within the bank of the Yemeni forces ’targets, explaining that there are ten vital and sensitive targets in the depth of the enemy Within the bank, the Yemeni forces' targets may be hit at any moment.
With regard to the Air Force's drone unit of the armed forces, Saree revealed that it had carried out more than 5,613 operations by Yemeni-made drones, indicating that the air defense forces had managed to shoot down 67 aircraft between warfare, reconnaissance, combat and espionage.
