Major General Fouad Allam, a security expert and member of the Supreme Council for Combating Terrorism in Egypt, affirmed that the presence of the Turkish and American occupations on the Syrian territories supports and fuels terrorism, which requires a swift and urgent international position to confront this threat.
Allam said in a special statement to SANA's correspondent in Cairo that some western and regional countries, led by the United States and the Turkish regime, have an interest in the continuation of this terrorism that targets Syria to achieve its agendas and ambitions, calling for the international community not to be complacent about this terrorism in Syria and the region and not to double standards regarding it because this Slackness will lead to more terrorist operations and their continuation in the entire world.
Allam stressed that the US economic blockade and the use of unilateral coercive measures to tighten the screws on the people and the Syrian state aims to achieve American interests after the failure of previous plans to target Syria.
