Emmanuel Macron chose the Member of Parliament for Eure-et-Loire (Agir) Laure de La Raudière to head the Telecoms Regulatory Authority (Arcep), succeeding Sébastien Soriano, whose mandate ended in early January, has indicated Tuesday the Elysee in a press release

"The President of the Republic plans, on a proposal from the Prime Minister, to appoint Ms. Laure de La Raudière as president of the regulatory authority for electronic communications, posts and press distribution (Arcep)"
