At about 4 am today (6th), a fire broke out in a residential unit in Sheung Ching House, Kai Ching Village.

After the firefighter received the report, several fire trucks and ambulances were sent to the scene.

The burning unit was blazing, tongues of fire gushing out of the window, and thick smoke rushed into the air.

It is understood that some residents heard that someone was trapped calling for help. The fire department dispatched search team personnel to search the building and assist the residents to leave the building.

Firefighters opened their throats to fight the blaze and put out the fire about 20 minutes later. The authorities initially received no reports of casualties.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

It is understood that the incident involved a unit on the 20th floor.

At the scene, about 400 people were evacuated to a safe location on the ground. During this period, a family of four, including children and infants, boarded an ambulance for treatment.

Mr. Xu, a low-level resident of the upper site, said that when the incident happened, he heard someone yelling "Fire Candle" and smelled a burning smell, so he took his pet catwoman out of the fire.

He pointed out that order was generally good when he escaped.
