This Tuesday, January 5, one of the top stars of the United States women's team,
Alex Morgan, revealed that he contracted Covid-19 while spending his year-end vacation in California,
this after finishing his adventure in the league of England with Tottenham, where he was recovering his level of play during the second half of 2020.
This was announced by the 31-year-old forward through her Twitter account, where she also assured that
she and her family are recovering properly
and in isolation while the virus leaves her body.
"Unfortunately, my family and I closed 2020 when we learned that we had contracted Covid
while we were in California during the holidays. We are all in a good mood and we are recovering well," he said.

Will join USWNT camp
Likewise, Morgan added that, once she is fully recovered, she will join the camp that the team directed by Vlatko Andonovski will carry out from January 9 to 29, as
USWNT prepares to face the SheBelieves tournament during the next month of February. .
"After completing our isolation, I will follow the guidelines back to the game of US Soccer to ensure that my body is fully recovered and
soon I will be able to join my teammates on the field.
