President Alberto Fernández expressed his "strongest support" for the president-elect of the United States, Joe Biden, after a tense day in which Donald Trump militants seized the historic Capitol headquarters by force.

"We express

our rejection of the serious acts of violence and the outrage of Congress that occurred today in Washington DC.

We trust that there will be a peaceful transition that respects the popular will and we express our strongest support for President-elect @JoeBiden," Fernández tweeted.

The situation of extreme tension occurred this Wednesday in the United States in the middle of the protest carried out by Trump's followers at the entrance to the Capitol.
