In this video published at the end of December, viewed by AFP, this user accuses the platform's algorithm of promoting access to sexualized videos (sexy dances, suggestive positions, staged sexual practices), and shows that it is easy, regardless of age, to have access to illegal content, citing in particular bestiality or scatophilia.
In addition, the settings provided by TikTok such as flagging inappropriate posts and parental controls "
fail in their mission to restrict access to such content,

In a petition launched Wednesday on the site change.org, it calls on TikTok to revise its algorithm, to make its parental control settings more effective and to increase its means dedicated to moderation of content.
It also asks the government for a "
real prevention plan
" to protect minors from access to pornography.
Recently, the porn site Pornhub removed almost half of its videos after accusations of hosting child pornography.
