After number 1 of the Corsican judicial police, numbers 2 and 3 were sanctioned by the public prosecutor who suspended their authorization as judicial police officer (OPJ) for four months, we learned on Wednesday.
These sanctions, taken for the management deemed failing by those responsible for a case of organized crime, have been in effect since mid-December.

Since the end of September, the PJ of Corsica has been in turmoil: it has been removed from the investigation into the attempted assassination of Guy Orsoni pursued in various cases of banditry.
During a net aimed at arresting suspects in this assassination attempt, three suspected members of the “
Petit Bar

criminal gang
escaped the police on September 28 in Ajaccio, probably due to leaks.
Procedural problems were also noted and would concern both the island PJ and the Central Office for the Fight against Organized Crime (OCLCO) based in the Paris region, sources familiar with the matter told AFP.

In early December, PJ boss Lucien Arleri had his OPJ accreditation suspended for one year by Mr. Fagni.
Mr. Arleri left his duties in Corsica and began on December 1 his new post as representative of the General Directorate of the National Police.
He was replaced in the Isle of Beauty by Thierry de Maria, who was regional director of the PJ in Limoges since May 2020.
