The creation of Stellantis by the merger of FCA and PSA had hardly been voted on when the Italian unions, starting with the FIM CISL, insisted on making their voices heard.
They want to discuss with other unions in the world, create a global works council, participate in the appointment of the next employee representative to the board of directors and be received by its CEO, Carlos Tavares, before he presents his industrial plan in early summer.
Their objective?
Weigh on the role reserved for Italy after the merger.
Knowing that FCA has 26,300 employees in its transalpine factories, and 7,850 in the central services in Turin.
