"Architecture, Surveying, Engineering, and Construction" had 535 people, and "Business and Trade", "Academic Research and Education", and "Industrial Manufacturing" had 462, 438, and 429 people respectively.

Security Bureau: Will continue to review to attract more talents

According to the Security Bureau, there is no industry restriction for the Talent Scheme. Eligible applications will be selected for evaluation by the "Advisory Committee for Admission of Talents and Professionals" appointed by the Chief Executive. The selection will take into account socio-economic needs and the background of the candidates. After factors such as education level, professional qualifications, language ability and future development plans in Hong Kong, he will advise the Director of Immigration on how to best allocate places.
