After shining on Sunday, Facundo Campazzo had
another good night
in the NBA.
The Argentine scored 11 points in nearly 26 minutes, his longest playing time in a single game, and the Denver Nuggets beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 123-116.
The Cordovan point guard came to show his entire repertoire just two days ago, at 124-109 against the Timberwolves.
This Tuesday Campazzo took another step to establish himself in the replacement of the Nuggets and
played the last full quarter
, in a decisive stretch of the match.
In 25 minutes and 47 seconds of action, his roster registered
11 points, two assists, one steal and one rebound.
He made 3 of his 7 two-point shots and missed all three triples he tried.
In addition, he converted five of the seven free games he had and committed four personal fouls.

Nikola Jokic was the figure of the night, with 35 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists.
JaMychal Green's contribution from the bench also stood out, thanks to his 17 points and 6 rebounds.
D'Angelo Russell stood out in Minnesota, with 33 points and 11 assists, while Juancho Hernangomez had 25 points.
It wasn't an easy game for Denver, despite its strong start.
With Campazzo on the floor for the final 3 minutes, the Nuggets finished that period with a 12-point lead.
The clean and jerk continued until the middle of the second quarter.
The best moment of Denver coincided with the best passage of the Argentine, in which he had a
personal duel with Ricky Rubio

At the very start of the quarter, the Cordovan doubled and gave an assist to JaMychal Green for a triple.
He tried his own three-point shot, but Rubio stopped him with a personal foul.
Campazzo hit two of his three free games.
There was more.
Because he
again challenged
the Spanish base, this time with a penetration to crown the counterattack.
He scored twice and was fouled
, although he missed the additional free hit.
After leaving with 5 minutes and 35 seconds to go, the Timberwolves sharpened their recovery.

Campazzo came back in a hot moment, with 1 minute and a half left.
He was fouled by Jarred Vanderbilt and made both of his free pitches.
Denver went into halftime with a 65-62 loss.
Their 18-point lead
had been
pulverized
.
What followed was a hotly contested stretch, in which Minnesota couldn't get off the ground in the result but Denver couldn't reverse the trend either.
Campazzo reappeared on the court to play the last 2 minutes and 37 seconds of the third quarter.
He provided an assist for a triple by Jokic.

And, in
a show of confidence
, he took over the last shot.
The clock choked him and the Nuggets trailed 97-93.
The Argentine did not leave the field again and was an
important piece for the recovery
of his team.
While he continued without long-range hits, there was no time for regrets.
First, he took an offensive foul on Naz Reid.
On the next play he escaped from Rubio, converted the layup and suffered another violation from the Spaniard, which allowed him to add another free kick.

With the result in favor of Denver, he had to bring out his intense defensive game.
A rebound and a steal, plus the connections with Jokic on offense, were reward enough for Campazzo, who continues to add minutes and confidence in the NBA.
With this victory, Denver added its third victory of the season.
He is 3-4 and is ninth in the Western Conference, in the same position as Minnesota.
The next game for the Nuggets will be this Thursday, against the Dallas Mavericks, at home.
