Submarine cables provide more than 90% of international internet connections.

This will soon be done with EllaLink, which will link Portugal to Brazil in May 2021.

EllaLink is first of all financed by its future customers.
The Bella consortium, which brings together European and Latin American universities, has contributed 25 million euros to the project.
