Today, 17 male and female students from the sponsorship of science for orphans and outstanding students for the year 2019-2020 sponsored by the Al-Mabarah Women's Association were honored at the Al-Assad National Library in Damascus and with the support of Cham Wings Airlines.

During the ceremony, which included honoring 7 university graduates and 10 successful students of the basic and secondary education certificates, an introductory film was shown about the activities of the Cham Wings Airlines Company and another about the activities of the association and success stories. Both Nihad Al-Yatim graduated English literature and Areej Bitar from the College of Pharmacy For their families.

In a speech during the honoring ceremony, the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Salwa Al-Abdullah, indicated that today's activity is a form of social solidarity that is one of the pillars of our life and which has arisen since the beginning of the establishment of the Syrian state and contributed to supporting the first block, which is the family, noting the role of national businessmen and economic institutions Including Cham Wings Company in support of social solidarity and science.

For his part, Director of Business Development at Cham Wings Airlines, Osama Sateh, pointed out that the company, since its inception, has supported these activities permanently and in various fields, especially the field of education for its role in developing and building the nation out of its belief in social responsibility and contributing to the development, growth and advancement of society. The company, Nizar Suleiman, is the importance of honoring and supporting science students in various educational stages and encouraging excellence, pointing out that the company provides support in various cultural and sports fields to fulfill its social role, especially at this stage that requires the collaboration and integration of all efforts.

The President of Al-Mabara Women’s Association, Mona Muhanna, indicated that the superiority of the students who are sponsored by the association within the project of ensuring education for orphans is the result of great participatory efforts presented in cooperation with partners from the private sector, noting the importance of this partnership to provide everything that is best for orphan students to build their future, support their families and their community, and encourage dependent mothers to Continue their studies and encourage their children.

Sawsan Hatahat, a member of the Society for the Guarantee of Knowledge Committee, explained that since its founding in 1945, the association has worked to provide material and developmental support to orphans, widows and poor families, as well as providing educational courses for students of the basic and secondary education certificates, in addition to sponsoring university students with the support of sponsors, whether individuals or economic companies.

Both Naz Alawi, who graduated from the College of Communications and Electronics Engineering, and Imad Eddin Zaza, who passed a high school diploma, emphasized that the honor is a great motivation for them as young people to succeed also in the practical field and to pursue knowledge and excel, whatever the circumstances.

Baraa Hamdan indicated that, with the support of the Association, she has succeeded with the basic education certificate with distinction and will continue to excel and succeed in the remaining stages of the study to have a role in building society and in the field of civil work as well.
