He had drawn his weapon to threaten a detainee who had pushed him to the limit: a Marseille police officer escaped the firm prison required by the prosecution and was finally sentenced, Thursday, to ten months suspended prison sentence, without professional prohibition.

Assigned to the jails of the Marseille courthouse, the official had, on September 22, on his arrival at the Aix-Luynes remand center where three detainees were escorted after a hearing in Marseille, pulled out his weapon against the 'had insulted profusely, threatened with death and spat on him many times.

”.
On leaving the courthouse, the police officer had asked his colleague who was driving the van to "
drive like a motherfucker
".
According to the prosecution, the driver had given untimely brakes with the aim, according to the prosecution, to injure the detainees transported in the back.

My goal was to drive quickly to put an end to this ordeal, not to hurt the occupants of the van especially since there was also my colleague
", defended the police officer.
He was released.
On their arrival in Luynes, the prison staff had observed with "
astonishment
" the defendant draw his weapon when the prisoner had thrown at him: "
You have a weapon, you don't have the balls to take it out
".
Entered the police six years earlier, considered "
a good cop
" according to his lawyer Me Cyril Lubrano-Lavadera, the police officer recognized an error "
of one second and two tenths
", the time during which he had exhibited his weapon before sheathing it.

The court justified its decision by a "
lack of consideration
" of his situation by the hierarchy of the police.
