For the first time since the beginning of the discussions on the tight closure, an explicit instruction has been issued by Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky to close the Talmud Torah and the Hyderabad for a few days.
In a conversation with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Rabbi Kanievsky's grandson, Yanki, said that his grandfather, the greatest of the ultra-Orthodox generation, ordered this morning (Thursday) not to operate the institutions in light of the serious illness.
In recent days, there has been uncertainty regarding the way in which the ultra-Orthodox rabbis will act regarding the closure of the ultra-Orthodox educational institutions.
On the one hand, there is a very serious morbidity in the ultra-Orthodox cities, but on the other hand the rabbis were very afraid of a sweeping decision to close the institutions, which will inevitably lead to the abolition of Torah.

A directive on behalf of Rabbi Kanievsky, which stated that the instructions should be observed but did not explicitly state that the Talmud Torah should be closed, came out yesterday at noon.
"The instructions of the doctors and the regulations laid down to stop the plague must be observed and the patients and the elderly who are in great danger, without any permission, must be very careful in praying to the doctor of all flesh that God will remove his wrath from us and tell the destroyer enough," it said.
Although only now is Rabbi Kanievsky officially announcing the closure of Talmud Torah, but relatively clear hints to parents and institutions were also published this morning.
The two great-Lithuanian generation of the generation, Rabbi Kanievsky and Rabbi Gershon Edelstein, published this morning in the Yated Ne'eman newspaper a call for parents and educators to take care of students because they will have to stay at home.
"Due to the situation, parents are called upon to follow Eina Pekiha while their children are forced to stay at home, and strive to instill a pleasant atmosphere at home. Gold and Noahin to lose them like glassware, "it was noted.
