Against the background of the rise in morbidity and the spread of the British corona mutation, the tight quarantine regulations will take effect tonight (Friday) at midnight, and if no change occurs - they will expire in two weeks, on January 21, at midnight.
Until then, there are many regulations designed to curb the epidemic in Israel.

As part of the tightened closure, activities of businesses, trade and service providers will be banned.
The education system will also be closed (except for special education), and restaurants will only be able to work in the form of deliveries.
However, the situation will be different in cases of certain workplaces where employees are necessary to provide a product or service and where full occupancy will be allowed;
Subsistence services that have been recognized as such (in which the full presence of employees will be allowed);
An enterprise with a special permit to employ an employee during rest hours (it is permitted to stay the number of workers allowed in the permit or up to 30% of the workers' situation, whichever is higher);
Defense industry and security support enterprise - up to 60%;
Places where construction work or infrastructure work is engaged that does not include a gathering in a closed structure (all workers will be allowed to stay);
A government ministry, a local authority, a religious council and an institution of higher education will work with the minimum amount of manpower required and jobs allowed in the regulations.
The conditions for a work permit will also apply to companies that meet the conditions for defining a "preferred technological enterprise";
A place where the entry of an employee is required for the maintenance of the place or for the repair of defects required to maintain the integrity of the place.
There is a total ban on receiving crowds, except in stores selling food and hygiene products, a pharmacy and an optics institute (more customers per 7 square meters or up to 10 customers in the building); laundry and laboratory for repairing communication products or computers, stores selling essential appliances and essential home maintenance products (Customer per 7 sqm or four customers);
Providing an essential service to the public that cannot be told remotely, online or by telephone (more than one customer per 7 square meters or up to 10 customers in a building); medical care or essential social care (one customer per 7 square meters or up to 10 customers in a building);
A place for providing complementary medicine treatment (one client per 7 square meters or up to 10 clients in a building) and spacious frameworks (the presence of up to 15 people in a building and up to 20 in an open area will be allowed).
In addition, it will be permitted to receive services at the home of a home repair service provider (for example, a plumber) and babysitting services for the care of children from the same nuclear family.
Local authorities will be allowed to establish activities of the youth units, including the activation of volunteers, activities in centers for at-risk youth and more.
Recreation and leisure sites will also be closed, thus referring to the "tourist islands" in Eilat and the Dead Sea, B & Bs, hotels, boarding houses, hostels or accommodation units;
Zoos and safaris, nature reserves and national parks, antiquities and heritage sites, places to watch a movie from a private car (drive in) and museums.
