Democratic Party leaders opened today (Thursday) during the ouster of incumbent President Donald Trump less than a day after the president's supporters stormed the Capitol building in Washington during a vote to approve the results of the presidential election.

According to media reports in the United States, both House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Democratic Minority Leader Chuck Schumer have asked Vice President Mike Pence to activate the 25th Amendment to the Constitution and bring about the removal of President Trump by the Cabinet.

The vice president has reportedly not yet responded to the requests but Democratic leaders have threatened that if he does not begin a move that will lead to the affair of Trump and Trump, the two will lead a move in Congress to oust the president, less than two weeks before his term ends.

Democrats are furious at the mass burglary of Trump supporters to the Capitol building, which included breaking into Pelosi's offices and stealing belongings from the place.

Elected President Joe Biden attacked Trump in a statement from his home state of Delaware, saying, "He tried to use a violent mob to silence the voices of more than 160 million American citizens."

"Trump expressed the contempt he felt for democracy, the constitution and the rule of law. It was an all-out attack on American democracy," Biden added.

The president-elect has clearly blamed the incumbent for the wild attack on the Capitol building, an attack that occurred less than an hour after Trump's speech at a demonstration in front of the building.

Meanwhile, the New York Times reported that senior Trump administration officials said the president had raised the possibility of pardoning himself several times in recent weeks in the event of any charges against him.

If the move does materialize, it will be the first time in American history that such a thing has happened and it is not at all clear whether the law allows the move.
