the French basketball club Asvel Lyon-Villeurbanne has obtained an agreement in principle for a permanent license allowing it to participate in the Euroleague, the president of the organizing body of the flagship event announced to the press on Friday of European basketball, Jordi Bertomeu.
"I hope that at the end of February-beginning of March at the earliest, we will be able to announce the validation of the agreement and the integration of Asvel as a long-term member of the Euroleague", declared Mr. Bertomeu.
