US President-elect Joe Biden this evening (Friday) for the first time referred to the voices calling for the opening of a dismissal process against President Donald Trump, and made it clear that he would leave the decision in the hands of Congress.
The possibility of the proceeding being promoted is gaining momentum with the support of members of both parties, but three of his Trump advisers told CNN that he has no plans to resign.
"No," one of them replied when asked about the chances of his resignation.
"Zero," another replied, adding that "he does not think he did anything wrong."
Their statement comes amid calls to oust the president after the congressional onslaught in Washington.
According to reports in the United States, Democrats may raise Trump's ouster as early as Monday if he does not resign or be replaced under the 25th Amendment to the Constitution.

Senior Republican lawmakers have come out against the attempt to oust the president.
Republican minority leader Kevin McCarthy has warned Democrats not to advance the impeachment process, saying he plans to speak today with President-elect Joe Biden on the issue.
"The removal of a president who has only 12 days left in office will only continue to divide the state," a California congressman said.
"I plan to talk to Biden about working together to lower the fire and unite the country to solve the United States' challenges."
