The decision to limit circulation at night due to the increase in coronavirus cases was delayed for a few hours.
What seemed imminent and was going to take effect from this Friday, has not yet been defined due, mainly, to the
rejection of some governors and mayors.
For this reason, the national government is looking for a way to reduce nighttime activity, although the application would be left to each governor.
Given that, in the province of Buenos Aires they admitted this Friday that it will be "very difficult" to apply the restriction to circulation at night, although they affirmed that it is necessary to stop the contagion.
"
It is a very complex decision and it will be difficult to apply that of restricting circulation
. Now, against the empire, I ask myself: if circulation is not restricted, what else can be done? There is no other way to stop the virus ", assured María Teresa García, Minister of Government of Axel Kicillof.
On Thursday, after learning that the Government was advancing in the drafting of a DNU to limit circulation during the night, and despite the fact that it was affirmed that it had been "agreed" with the governors,
there were three districts that were planted: Córdoba, Mendoza and The city of Buenos Aires.
For this reason, towards the end of the day the idea that President Alberto Fernández provides a framework for each governor to apply the sanitary measures that he understands are necessary according to the reality of each district gained strength.
Horacio Rodríguez Larreta accepts that bars and gastronomic businesses close earlier, but he will not restrict circulation.
In the City they maintain that the Nation intended to implement a national regulation that would oblige the provinces and that they had to back down, but in the Nation they deny it.

"
We are in a very high number and it is irresponsible not to look at it
. Although we are in a vaccination process, we have not yet achieved immunity," Garcia warned this Friday.
The Buenos Aires official assured that they will await the publication of the decree (it would be during this Friday) to, once the details are known, define with the mayors what measures will be adopted.
"
The night time schedule is what is generating more rejection and more problems.
When the definition of the Nation is in place, we will discuss with the mayors," he explained.
Mendoza is another of the provinces that does not accept to apply restrictions on circulation.
“The governor was clear in his statements days ago.
We hope that the Nation will respond with a reasonable measure.
The epidemiological situation in the province does not justify applying restrictions for now, "said Ulpiano Suárez, mayor of the provincial capital, on Thursday.
The one who publicly established a position was Juan Schiaretti, governor of Córdoba. "We are going to continue with the work system with which we have come up to today," said the provincial president.
"Industrial productive activity is open 24 hours, shops can operate until 23 during the tourist season and bars and restaurants continue with the possibility of working until 1 in the morning," he explained.
