Coronavirus figures around the world continue to rise and this time with a new strain that, according to experts, is more contagious.
Faced with the increase in coronavirus cases and deaths, several cities have again put lockdown orders in progress to contain the outbreaks.
Argentina
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Argentina, Santiago Cafiero, announced this Friday a new decree for governors and heads of government to take measures to restrict mobility at night.
According to Cafiero, President Alberto Fernández is expected to sign the decree this Friday.
Current legislation gives autonomy to provincial and local authorities to make decisions regarding the measures they deem necessary to stop the spread of the virus.
Provinces such as Chaco, La Pampa and Santiago del Estero have prohibited night driving.
In the municipality of Ituzaingo, in Buenos Aires, about 37 km from the federal capital, the night curfew is in force.
