Moosburg -

"Mia hoitn zam!" That is the motto of Narrhalla Moosburg - more than ever in Corona Carnival.

Because even if the fifth season has to be canceled this year, the active ones want to “bring Mardi Gras home” and “give a little smile” in these difficult times.

And so the prince couple of the past season, Pia I. (Müller) and Prince Tim I. (Müller), went to the Moosburg town hall on Friday morning to receive the town hall key from Mayor Josef Dollinger - and thus the crazy time too officially open.

Josef Dollinger was "really sad" that he had to hand over the town hall key again after eight months in office.

But with the Narrhalla Moosburg, the mayor knows that he is in good hands, after all, “you already have experience”.

But Dollinger made no secret of the fact that he had long considered whether Mardi Gras should be allowed to arrive at all in this “serious time”.

In his opinion, however, three points speak in favor of it: On the one hand, the Narrhalla Moosburg is an active association that needs to be supported, and on the other hand, the active members are a "flagship of the city of Moosburg".

And thirdly, he is convinced that in this “sad and difficult time we have to give the citizens a little hope” and “cheer them up a little”.

Shop window action in Mardi Gras

Nadine Seidlmayer and Michael Ender, who were both elected to the presidency of the Narrhalla for the first time at the general assembly at the beginning of September, revealed exactly how this should look: There will be a shop window campaign in the Dreirosenstadt in the next few weeks in which not only the Windows, but also prince couple robes, pictures, newspaper articles and Co. are exhibited.

In addition, the active participants will present themselves on social media.

Both the Prinzengarde and the Funky Dancing Teens youth group have been training at home and via video for weeks.

Groups present themselves online

The result will soon be available on Facebook and Instagram.

"Every group has come up with something", announced Princess Pia some online surprises.

And all active Narrhalla members, the ex-princesses and princes as well as the Narrhalla medal winners will receive the association medals specially made for this season in the next few days - with the (this year's) motto on it: “Mia hoitn zam”.

However, the medal is not presented personally by the prince couple, as is usually the case, but rather placed in an envelope in the mailbox.

"Everything just has to be Corona-compliant," emphasized Seidlmayer.

The first order was of course for the mayor, who is already happy when he gets the town hall key back on Shrove Monday.

Spontaneous action at the final would be conceivable

It is still open whether the keys can be returned in a foolish session.

If the Corona rules allow, the Narrhalla could imagine a "spontaneous action", according to Seidlmayer - by far, of course.
