The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, confirmed that what happened in the United States from the storming of the Congress headquarters shows the falsity of American democracy, indicating that the Americans used to do this in other countries and now the outgoing President Donald Trump came to apply it in his country.
Sayyed Nasrallah said in a televised speech this evening that what happened in Washington is a simple sample of what Trump has committed in Yemen, Syria, Iraq and Palestine, indicating that the Americans have touched closely the results of Trump's policy and his willingness to even kill his citizens for the sake of power.
Sayyed Nasrallah pointed out that Trump represents a crude sample of the American political and military arrogance that has always imposed its hegemony on peoples and undermined their sovereignty, explaining that the recent events in Washington have repercussions in America, the region and the world.
On the other hand, Sayyed Nasrallah explained that the aim of the American unilateral coercive measures against Lebanon is to target the resistance and protect the interests of the Israeli occupation entity, adding that the Americans only care about Lebanon as a matter of the existence of the resistance, because what concerns the security of the Israeli enemy.
On the issue of the Beirut Port explosion, Nasrallah pointed out that this is a national issue that concerns all of Lebanon and that the country's economy has been damaged by the explosion, calling for this issue not to be politicized and the need for it to reach its fair and honest conclusion.
