The people of the city of Qamishli carried out a national protest stand in Tayy al-Youm district, in opposition to the practices of the “Qasd militia” aimed at restricting the people and besieging them in their neighborhoods and preventing the entry of foodstuffs to them or the transfer of critical emergency cases, which threatens a humanitarian crisis.
The "Qasd militia" supported by the American occupation forces besieged the Tayy neighborhood and Halako neighborhood in the city of Qamishli and prevented the entry of foodstuffs to the people of the neighborhood in order to pressure them to submit to the militia's criminal practices.
The participants also renewed their rejection of the Turkish occupation, which occupies the land, plunders agricultural crops, burns lands, and attacks on a daily basis with its terrorist mercenaries on the safe people in their homes and villages, in addition to targeting infrastructure and service facilities, especially water and electricity stations, which leads to their exit from service for long periods.
In a statement to SANA's correspondent, Sheikh Hamid Al-Asaad, the sheikh of the Banu Sabaa clan, affirmed that “the people of Qamishli gathered to deliver their word to the whole world and denounce the imposition of a siege on their brothers in the neighborhood, including children, elderly and women.” Dissolve this militia that is terrorizing the people in Hasaka Governorate.
Citizen Abdul Ghani Al-Laylou confirmed that “the people of Tayy neighborhood are besieged for the seventh day in a row, and this action by the US-backed (SDF) militia is a cowardly act that works to create a rift between the people of the same country,” stressing that “we are all under the banner of Syria and under the umbrella and protection of the Syrian Arab Army. It is the people's only hope to eradicate terrorism. ”
For her part, citizen Noor Al-Ali affirmed that “the people of the Syrian island have not witnessed such acts and discrimination except with the presence of the occupying forces that work on a policy of divide and rule,” affirming that “the followers of the (Qasd) militia to the American occupation forces and working under its control is a subordination to those who occupy the land and steal grain. Oil and all wealth and their true owners are deprived of it.
The United States is working through its occupying forces in the Syrian island to arm and support the (Qasd) militia to control the Syrian island and use it as a tool in its plot to strike the unity of the Syrian geography, despite the daily rejection of the people.
