Today, the Brazilian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 62,290 cases and 1,171 new deaths from the Coronavirus in the country, which represents an increase for both indicators.
The ministry said in its daily statistics that the total number of new infections with the Coronavirus rose to 8075998 cases, while the total deaths reached 202,631 people.
Brazil recorded the second largest death toll from the virus in the world after the United States and the third highest number of infections after the United States and India.
