Juan Ignacio Buzali (47), the husband of Buenos Aires deputy Carolina Píparo (44), entered the prosecutor's office minutes before 10 am this Saturday to be investigated accused of
trying to kill two motorcyclists
whom he ran over when he believed that they were the criminals who had just robbed his wife during the early hours of January 1 in La Plata.
Buzali has been detained since Friday by order of the prosecutor in the case, María Eugenia Di Lorenzo, who charged him with the crime of "attempted double homicide" to the detriment of Luis Lavalle (23) and a 17-year-old teenager.
The legislator's husband was at his house in the country Grand Bell, in City Bell, when the police arrived, who took him to the headquarters of the Departmental Directorate of Investigations (DDI) La Plata.
A source close to the investigation stated that

showing that Buzali rammed the motorcyclists from behind were key."

The "
contempt for the life of others

Fernando Burlando, defense lawyer for Píparo in the case for the robbery and for Buzali in this specific case of the crash with the motorcyclists, arrived at the prosecutor's office at 10:30 and spoke to the press:
"What a murderer calls the police to warn that he is going to kill, it is unprecedented ...

Regarding the non-request for an exemption from prison in favor of his client, Burlando clarified that "it does not correspond, the crime is not subject to ordinary release. But the point is that we and the family are with the conviction that this is not an attempted murder ... "
In the ruling in which the arrest was ordered, the judge of Guarantees of La Plata Marcela Garmendia listed the elements that she took into account to support the request of the prosecutor in the case, María Eugenia Di Lorenzo.

Garmendia pointed out that the legislator's husband chased the victims "at high speed and for several meters" when they were traveling by motorcycle "in front" of their car and that

Luis Lavalle, 23, is one of the young people who was on the motorcycle hit by the car of Carolina Píparo's husband.

also arrested a 14-year-old boy on
suspicion of being part of the motorcycle gang that attacked Píparo.

Píparo reported having been assaulted by "motochorros" in
