Today, the Jordanian authorities announced the registration of 20 deaths and 796 new cases of the new Corona virus during the past twenty-four hours.
The Petra News Agency quoted the Jordanian Ministry of Health as saying in a statement that the total deaths in the Kingdom rose to 4009, while the total number of injuries rose to 305,959.
The ministry indicated that 1590 new recovery cases were registered, bringing the total to 286,983 cases.
To that, the Minister of Health, Dr. Nazir Obeidat, announced the start of the national program of vaccination against Corona next Wednesday morning, with the arrival of the first quantities of the vaccine, Sinopharm and Pfizer.
Obeidat said that the program is based on the national guide to vaccination against Corona and takes into account the global priorities that target the most affected groups, namely the elderly who suffer from chronic diseases and the most vulnerable groups represented by medical and health personnel, pointing out that work is underway to secure additional quantities of vaccines during the coming period.
