Most of the works of the writer and artist Suleiman Kattan captured important national visions, most notably the shining light on the sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army and the people's steadfastness in the face of the terrorist war in addition to social, humanitarian and educational insights and issues.

In an interview with SANA, Kattan pointed out that the works he loves most are those that show the steadfastness of the Syrian people and the sacrifices of the army in the face of the terrorist war, the most important of which is Flight 17 directed by Ali Al-Maghout, which is a film in which Karam Al-Shaarani, Rasha Ibrahim and others of his colleagues participated and said: We formed in the film a state of love that showed To the world the sacrifices that one of the Syrian Arab Army divisions made in confronting terrorism.

He added: I also participated in a theatrical work that I am proud of and presented an absolute championship in which a group of young artists participated in it. We observed what happened in the workers city of Adra as it faced terrorists when they entered it and committed crimes against its residents, and the work was directed by Mamdouh Al-Atrash.

The artist Qattan pointed out that there are other proud artworks such as Asrar al-Madina with Hisham Sharbatji and Qamar Bani Hashem with Muhammad Sheikh Najeeb and Sham Sharif directed by Ahmed Daibes in addition to the brothers of the soil with Najdat Anzour and the end of the universe with Ghassan Jabri.

Kattan said: Children had a great role in my professional life, as I presented twenty works for many years, such as Fella and the Seven Dwarves, directed by Samer Zarqa, and the rest with multiple directors, and we tried to present ideas that develop love for the homeland, family and society.

Regarding his opinion of the Syrian drama now, he said: The Syrian drama began to rise in the late 1990s at the hands of a large number of writers, directors, actors and artists who made Syrian art spread all over the world, but the conditions of the terrorist war on Syria that affected all aspects of Syrian life, including culture, made art In particular, there are artists and producers who retreat from his work for one reason or another.

Kattan pointed to the hope that heralds the resurgence of Syrian drama and Syrian art in general, especially that artistic capabilities are available, and said: “When the drama is presented in the correct form, it will develop the drama,” pointing out that what the cultural war against Syria seeks most is the penetration of “poor works that do not have what matters. Society and the nation ”to public opinion.

The writer and writer Kattan stated that he has written many dramas, including the diaries of Abu Mahjoub, Fanajeen and Bayt Abu Lotfi, which address various social and humanitarian issues in which a number of artists and artists participated, pointing out that he prefers theater over other arts because it has a long tradition and authentic legacy.

And the artist Kattan still keeps in his memory what he presented with popular organizations and the national theater in terms of works, especially that there are plays produced by creators such as Ayman Zidan, Zainati Qudsi, Ahmed Hamed and Nasser Al-Shibli until the theatrical works reached 54 works.

It is noteworthy that the artist Suleiman Kattan also participated in the Al-Khawali series, Layali Al-Salihiya, and won many awards in recognition of his creativity, the most important of which was in the Arab Festival in which he participated in the play Bayaa Al-Farajah directed by Tamer Arbid
