With the participation of 110 national industrial companies, the activities of the monthly shopping festival “Made in Syria” in its 111th session were launched in Homs today, which is being held by the Damascus Chamber of Industry and its countryside in cooperation with the Homs Chamber of Industry in the Martyr Ghazwan Abu Zaid Sports Hall in the city.

The exhibition, which will continue until next Sunday, includes an integrated basket of consumer goods, foodstuffs, consoles, drinks, detergents, clothes, household and electrical appliances, cosmetics, accessories and leather bags at competitive prices that suit low-income people.

Talal Qala Ji, head of the festival’s organizing committee, said in a statement to SANA that the discounts offered at the exhibition on all products, in addition to the distribution of vouchers to the families of the martyrs, pointing out that the next session will be held in Aleppo with the participation of industrialists from all governorates.

For his part, Salem Al-Loash, Director of the Homs Chamber of Industry, stated that the festival "breaks" the mediation links between the producer and the consumer for all the products offered, with a small profit margin, to encourage the national product.

Luay Sari, head of the Exhibitions and Markets Committee at the Damascus Countryside Chamber of Commerce, drew attention to the successes achieved by the festival in its previous sessions thanks to its good organization and discounts on all products.

In the pavilion of an institution for food industries from Sweida, Adel Qutaish says that he is participating for the third time in the festival by displaying natural products of apple cider vinegar, grape molasses, raisins, figs, rose water and others, while Wafaa Tikriti from Damascus participates with a handicraft in the crochet industry, recycling and making accessories and says: Iqbal in Homs Promising and good since the first day, and our prices are acceptable and suitable for low-income people.

The young Obada Al-Tanji, who is participating for the first time in the festival, stands behind his products of various types of soaps, shampoos and conditioners to offer discounts of up to 30 percent, while Firas Hussein says in the beverage stand that discounts on tea and mate range from 20 to 30 percent.

A number of citizens expressed their satisfaction with the opening of the festival in Homs, in light of discounts, reasonable prices and various products that meet the daily needs of the family.
