Accident in Bavaria: garbage truck crashes into the house
Because of a technical defect, the driver of the truck had to stop on a mountain in Bad Kötzting on Friday, the police said.
He got out of the car with his co-driver and examined the vehicle's battery.
However, the truck then began to move and roll down the slope.
"The driver wanted to jump into the cab to stop the truck,"
the police continued.
But the 61-year-old didn't succeed.
He was thrown off and suffered slight abrasions in the fall.

The garbage truck then rolled almost 100 meters downhill without a driver and initially crashed into a parked car.
But the car could not stop the truck and so it pushed the car into a house.
The car was completely destroyed - a four square meter hole was created in the house wall.
The damage is just under 125,000 euros.
