Corona - Daily Update: 5,030 were diagnosed in the last day, 6.3% of positive tests
The Ministry of Health has updated that the number of people infected with the virus has risen to 487,034, following 81,858 additional tests.
The number of serious patients jumped from 29 to 993, of whom 231 breathed.
21 patients died in one day.

The Ministry of Health updated this morning (Sunday) that 5,030 people have been diagnosed in Corona in the past day.
As a result, the number of verified infections in Israel rose to 487,034.
Yesterday, about 81,858 tests were performed, with a positive percentage of the virus being 6.3%.
The data of the tests and their results are not final and may change in subsequent updates of the Ministry of Health.
The number of active patients is 69,160.
1,710 patients are hospitalized in the hospitals, of whom 231 are respirators and 993 are seriously ill.
To date, 3,654 people have died from the corona virus in Israel.
Yesterday, 7,808 people were diagnosed in Corona.
The number of tests was 121,757, of which 6.5% were positive for the virus.

Health Minister Yuli Edelstein announced that the distribution of the second vaccine doses had opened yesterday, and that during the day more significant shipments of vaccines would begin to arrive.
