The commander of the Golani Regiment was attacked last night by a settler during a demonstration near the settlement of Kedumim.

The attacker was taken to a police officer present at the scene.

The officer filed a complaint with the police.

According to an IDF spokesman, the officer was attacked while evacuating an axis after settlers blocked it from vehicular traffic.

The protesters refused and the forces acted to evacuate them, so the officer was violently attacked by one of the protesters.
