It was the first joint televised meeting of candidates for the Presidency on the same stage, so that they can present their proposals to citizens for the February 7 elections.

This Sunday the second part of this forum will be held, with seven other candidates.

Two candidates for the Presidency refused to participate in this meeting, Andrés Arauz, a candidate for the movement supported by former President Rafael Correa, and Yaku Pérez, a candidate from the indigenous sector.
