Trump supporters did not shy away from violence when they stormed the Capitol.
One man apparently even planned to shoot Nancy Pelosi.
Experts are concerned.
On Wednesday, January 6, 2021,
violent supporters of
the outgoing US President
Donald Trump
stormed
the Capitol.
According to experts, the event could be "just the beginning" - researchers express deep concern about the violence of the Trump loyalists.
A man had apparently planned
to kill
the Speaker of the House,
Nancy Pelosi
.
Update from January 11th, 2 p.m.: Donald Trump
made his vice the target of his supporters: inside
(see update from January 10, 8 p.m.)
.
The storming of the Capitol on January 6th marks
a turning point
in the relationship between the outgoing US President and
Mike Pence
. For now his most loyal companion has turned away from him.
"Vice President Pence has gone from being one of Donald Trump's most loyal supporters to the number one public enemy in Trump's world," said
Adam Kinzinger
, a Republican MP.
As reported by the US media, there is now
radio silence between Trump and Pence
.
This formally confirmed the results of the
electoral committee
and thus
Joe Biden's election victory
.
Even if Pence only plays a representative role in it, Trump sees himself betrayed.
Meanwhile, the Democrats are calling on Pence
to end
Trump's presidency with the
25th Amendment
.
Which, according to the US media, has apparently not yet been ruled out.
On January 20th, Pence, unlike Donald Trump, will attend
Biden's inauguration
.
Storming the Capitol: Man wrote threats against Pelosi to acquaintances - New details known
Update from January 10, 10:30 p.m.:
A man has apparently threatened
to shoot
the spokeswoman for the House of Representatives,
Nancy Pelosi
(see first report).
Federal officials have
now announced that a suspect will be charged with the Pelosi threat.
The alleged
QAnon supporter
traveled to
Washington
with an assault rifle, several pistols and hundreds of cartridges to
take part in the
pro-Trump demonstration
on Wednesday, writes the
New York Times
.
He is one of the people
indicted
in the investigation into the
storming of the Capitol
.
However
, the defendant did not make it to
the
pro-Trump demo
because he was late.
Instead, he texted acquaintances.
In one he threatened
to shoot
Nancy Pelosi
- in another he wrote
about wanting to run over
the
Democrat
.
Another message states: "I expect that many will die in our country within the next twelve days."
Mike Pence: Vice stuck with Donald Trump for a long time - role in handover makes him a target
Update from January 10, 8 p.m.: Vice President Mike Pence
has long been loyal to
Donald Trump
.
Until the latter asked him
to abuse
his - actually purely representative - role in counting the
votes of
the
electorate
.
And the
US election 2020
may still decide in favor of Trump.
So the outgoing
US president
showed his supporters that it was up to pence to keep Trump president.
His refusal - and simply the impossibility of this task - made the conservative Republican the
target of Trump's disciples
.
Those
who looked for him
in the
Capitol
and claimed to want to hang him in public
(see first report)
.
Trump demonized Pence with deranged lies to the point that the mob storming the Capitol chanted “hang Mike Pence” - and Trump has never checked in on Pence or his family to make sure they're OK - but Pence is waiting until Trump crosses a line before invoking the 25th Amendment
- Jake Tapper (@jaketapper) January 10, 2021
The CNN presenter
Jake Tapper
spoke up
on Twitter.
He wrote, "Trump demonized Pence with insane lies to the point that the mob that stormed the Capitol
sang
" Hang Mike Pence "
- and Trump has not yet checked with Pence or his family to make sure they are fine goes - but
Pence
waits to
invoke the 25th Amendment
until Trump crosses a line. "
With this additional article, Pence would be able to throw Trump out of office prematurely.
Trump could thus be declared incapable of “exercising the rights and duties of the office”.
Trump supporters storm the Capitol - there are increasing indications that the attack could have ended worse
First report from January 9th, 11 p.m .:
Washington - The recordings of the attack by
Trump supporters
on the
Capitol
are terrifying.
Numerous videos and photos circulated on social networks.
A violent right-wing mob penetrated the heart of US democracy on Wednesday.
Devastated.
People perished.
The FBI is looking for the Trump supporters *.
And apparently it could have been even worse.
Because more and more information about the extent of the planned violence is coming to the fore in the US media.
As reported by the US broadcaster CNN, a man is said to have planned
to kill
the Democrat and Speaker of the House of Representatives,
Nancy Pelosi
.
He is said to have written to friends that he intends to "put a bullet in Pelosi's head".
In his luggage: a rifle and hundreds of bullets.
Federal officials were able to arrest the man, he is waiting for his court hearing.
I heard at least 3 different rioters at the Capitol say that they hoped to find Vice President Mike Pence and execute him by hanging him from a Capitol Hill tree as a traitor.
It was a common line being repeated.
Many more were just talking about how the VP should be executed.

Donald Trump's violent supporters: expert concerned about "terrorist movement"
Several
Trump loyalists
are also said to have
gone
in search of
Mike Pence *
, whom they consider a "traitor".
Because before
Donald Trump
had asked his vice-
president
several times to change the election in his favor.
A desperate attempt by the man who still
clings
to the
baseless claim of election fraud
.
Since then, Pence has messed up with the base.
In a tweet, a Reuters journalist reported that he had heard statements in the Capitol from people who wanted to hang pence.
For the
terror expert
Peter Neumann, the events of January 6th were “just the beginning”.
That reports n-tv.
"What we saw on Wednesday was not yet terrorism - but rarely has a terrorist movement announced itself so spectacularly," Neumann told the broadcaster n-tv.
After the
handover
to the elected US President
Joe Biden
on January 20 *, the last reluctance of
Trump *
supporters could
fall.
"The essence of
QAnon
is the belief that the US government and actually the entire establishment is ruled by a satanic sect that aims to protect a network of child molesters," Neumann describes the
conspiracy belief
that many
Trump- Attach loyalists
.
Donald Trump: Handover of office to Joe Biden on January 20 - researcher sees Capitol storm as a success for mob
“We must not let the communists win.
Even if we have to burn DC down.
Tomorrow we will take back DC and take our country back !! ”These words were written by a man on
the right platform thedonald.win
on Thursday, the day after the
storming of the Capitol
.
"Trump will be
sworn in for a second term
on
January 20th
!!" he added.
There are increasing signs that
Donald Trump's
loyal base is
still ready to use violence - and is looking at January 20, the inauguration of US President-elect
Joe Biden *
.
A researcher from the
University of Toronto
expressed deep concern to CNN.
"While the general public was appalled by what happened at the
Capitol
, in certain corners of the kind of right-wing conversation what happened is viewed as a success." The world's eyes continue to turn to Washington.
