In the midst of the open debate about the

possible reformulation of the health system of the social work of the unions

, Antonio Caló came out to demonstrate against Cristina Kirchner's proposal.

Caló spoke before entering the meeting of the CGT small table at UPCN headquarters to discuss this point.

This is

a sensitive issue given that the union box is at stake.

"We are not in conflict (with the national government). I endorse this president, this government. The vice president is one thing. I agree with the president, opinions are different.

The one who commands, the one who has the baton of The president is in charge and I endorse it;

the vice president, (whom) I have the greatest respect for,

will have to do the legislative function,

"said Caló.

The possible return of Liliana Korenfeld to the

Superintendency of Health Services

(SSS) heightened the alarms among the referents of the CGT for this eventual advance on union social work.

"The lady you are talking about has already been in the Superintendency, and we have worked, I don't care who is there, but rather that the Superintendency works," Caló answered.

As

Clarín

reported

, the union leaders had raised their guard with the speech of Cristina Kirchner and also by the versions of Ginés González García's departure from the ministry and his eventual replacement by Daniel Gollán, current head of the Buenos Aires portfolio, closer to the vice president and critic of the management of social works by the unions.

The alarms in the CGT were aggravated by the possibility of Korenfeld's return to the Superintendency.

Hence the unusual conclave that the union priests hold this Monday afternoon, in the middle of January.

This newspaper also reported that Korenfeld is a person of confidence of the vice president, former deputy for Santa Cruz, a provincial official (she was secretary of Tourism and head of the Social Services Fund) and that she had conflicts with trade unionists for stepping on from the SSS the funds for social works and distribute them according to the alignment to the Government.

From the door of the UOM, Caló added: "Since 1970 the social works are managed by the unions and we have given samples. We give health to 17 million inhabitants.

The national government has to worry about the lack of financing that exists with the social works

to the extent that the costs of medicine have increased and the contributions are always the same ".

Hector Daer -Health Minister-, José Luis Lingeri Obras Sanitarias), host Andrés Rodríguez (UPCN) and Gerardo Martínez (Uocra), among other referents of the labor union, are also expected to participate in the meeting.
