Corona claims three more deaths

Sad news from the hospital: Three other district citizens died of Covid-19 over the weekend.

According to Fiebrandt-Kirmeyer, 22 Covid-19 patients are currently being cared for in the clinic, and 18 in the Wartenberg clinic. Five are in the intensive care unit, none of which currently require artificial ventilation.

835 swabs have been taken in Erding since Friday, increasing the number of tests since March to 34,516. There were over 10,000 in December alone.

There is also good news: nobody is quarantined in the asylum shelters.

According to the health department, there have also been no major outbreaks in companies recently.

Further relaxation is emerging in the homes.

"In some, the health department was able to declare the outbreak to be over," said Fiebrandt-Kirmeyer.

A total of 49 residents and 42 employees are currently Sars-Cov-2-positive.

At the BRK vaccination center 114 people received initial protection over the weekend, a total of 1151. The next 540 doses are expected on Tuesday and will be used during the week.
