Advocate Tomer Naveh, representing the second, unnamed 19-year-old suspect with Adv. Anas Dirrawi, whose detention was extended yesterday until Wednesday, says that "he was involved in an accident in which he was shot by police officers and his uncle during the incident. An hour ago "Calla died of his wounds. Contrary to the police position, the shooting was carried out when there was no danger to the policeman, who acted recklessly and killed a man with no criminal record. We turned to the police investigation department that opened the investigation.

The incident happened shortly after midnight when the closure was imposed between Thursday and Friday, when police ordered the vehicle to stop and he did not respond, hit a police officer on foot and fled the scene while police fired in his direction.

Police launched a chase after the vehicle that managed to escape and was discovered about a mile and a half away - abandoned near a public park.

Police then learned that one of the occupants of the vehicle was rushed to the hospital.

Haifa and Hof police officers, as well as DIP investigators, worked throughout the night in both arenas. One on Yosef Wiener Street near the large mosque in the Halisa neighborhood, where the incident began, and about a mile away on Rabbi Mashash Street in the Neve Yosef neighborhood, where the Toyota Corolla was driving. Injured. There were injuries in the back of the vehicle.

At noon on Friday, the Minister of Internal Security, Amir Ohana, arrived in the city and praised the commander of the Haifa station, Deputy Chief of Staff Amir Goldstein, and his men. , He said, "I have praised you and I praise you even today.

I came because wherever a person endangers a human life, and it could be a police officer or a citizen who escapes from a police officer like that - my assumption is that he is endangering the lives of civilians in his escape route.

Must act resolutely, stop with him including firing if necessary as is done here.

I want to strengthen you, to strengthen the hands of the police - who knew that this was exactly what was expected: a determined, strong action, an offensive against criminals.

this is how it should be".
