Hezbollah strongly condemned the US administration’s decision to classify the Ansar Allah movement in Yemen as a "terrorist organization", describing it as an "unjust aggressive move" and affirming its solidarity with the movement.
The party said in a statement today, “The United States has not only participated, supported and supported the unjust aggression against Yemen. Rather, its Foreign Ministry announced its intention to designate the Ansar Allah movement as a terrorist organization in a criminal move aimed at undermining the morale, steadfastness and leadership of the Yemeni people in order to complement the unjust blockade and criminal aggression for which the United States bears full responsibility. And its human and health consequences on all levels.
He pointed out that these American measures and similar aggressive steps that preceded them targeted the resistance movements in the region aimed at punishing all who reject the American hegemony and domination over the region's capabilities, wealth, and the choices of its free peoples, and reject the Zionist occupation of Palestine and engage in the sinister and rejected normalization movement.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced yesterday that his country intends to classify the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement on what Washington calls "the black list of terrorist groups."
The Saudi regime has continued its aggression against the Yemeni people since March 2015, leaving tens of thousands of victims and tremendous damage to the country's infrastructure, in addition to the suffering of Yemenis from starvation and the spread of epidemics and diseases as a result of the suffocating blockade imposed by the aggression coalition on the country's outlets.
