Damascus-Sana
Today, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced a comparison to fill vacancies for the screening comparison for students of the preparatory year for medical colleges (College of Pharmacy) for parallel education only.
In its announcement, which SANA received a copy of, the ministry stated that vacancies will be filled in each of the universities of Aleppo, Hama, and al-Baath for students who were successful and transferred as a result of the preparatory year who had previously submitted to the screening comparison for the preparatory year for the 2019-2020 academic year and rejected all their wishes.
The Ministry indicated that applications will be accepted in the Student Affairs Directorate of the Central Administration from today until Sunday 1-17-2021, indicating that the number of vacant seats in Aleppo University is 12 and the minimum number for progression is 66,346, and in Al-Baath University there are two vacant seats with a minimum progression of 66,833.
As for the University of Hama, the number of vacant seats is 16, with a minimum progression of 66,896.
It is noteworthy that the preparatory year for faculties of medicine, dentistry and pharmacy was adopted as a second criterion for university admission to be added to the high school diploma rate in the 2015-2016 academic year, as it became a standardized and automatic central examination for each semester according to what was approved by the Higher Education Council and is considered one of the student’s academic years.
