The police summarize the calls received at the emergency centers 100 and the information center 110 in the Corona year, which show that in the information center there was a 25% increase in the number of calls in 2020 compared to the previous year, while in the emergency centers there was only a 5% increase.

Most of the calls to the information center were about misunderstanding emergency regulations.

A significant number of calls also dealt with reports. A 75% decrease was recorded in the number of harassment calls. The total number of calls received at the police centers in 2020 is 11,313,544.

Tel Aviv is the city whose residents called the centers the most, with 1,702,032 calls.

Followed by Central District with 1,692,595 calls;

In third place Southern District with 1,404,018 calls;

And Jerusalem in fourth place with 1,196,374.

During the closures most of the citizens stayed at home and this caused a decrease in calls regarding property offenses, from 325,511 in 2019 to 291,766 in 2020. A decrease in the number of calls was also recorded in traffic issues: from 911,456 in 2019 the number dropped to 726,196 in 2020.
