Parler, suspended by Amazon, Google and Apple 1:09
(CNN) -
The Parler app is suing Amazon after being removed from the Seattle-based tech giant's servers.
The lawsuit accuses Amazon of antitrust violation, breach of contract and interference in the company's business relationships with users.
Parler petitioned a federal court for a temporary restraining order against Amazon, saying the decision by Amazon Web Services, the company's cloud storage service, was a "death blow" to the app.
Parler's lawsuit argues that Amazon is illegally seeking to restrict competition by removing a player from the market.
It also claims that Amazon violated its contract by failing to provide Parler with a 30-day notice of termination, and that its actions interfere with Parler's relationships with current and future users.
CNN reached out to Amazon for comment.
