The European deputy RN Jérôme Rivière is targeted by an investigation in particular for death threats attributed to one of the guests of an evening at his Parisian home, in full confinement, we learned Monday from the Paris prosecutor's office.
Asked by AFP, the Paris prosecutor's office confirmed information from Point and Médiapart and indicated that it had opened a preliminary investigation for nighttime noise, public insults and death threats.

The facts took place on the evening of December 13.
Mr. Rivière is organizing a dinner at his home, in the 8th arrondissement of the capital, with his wife and at least three guests, according to Médiapart, while confinement is still in force.
Several residents of the building complain about the noise to Mr. Rivière, without success.
Insults are raging against disgruntled neighbors, they told online media.
After the passage of a police patrol, called by a neighbor, the situation escalates and threats are made by at least one guest, filmed by a teenager from a window, according to a video broadcast on the Médiapart site.
“
It's for headhunters.
They're going to cut your hair.
They are going to shave your head
”, we hear it.
He would have added, according to the teenager, confirmed by a neighbor: "
I will cut off your head
".
Contacted by Médiapart, Mr. Rivière denied the insults and threats, claiming to have simply organized “
a working dinner
”.
The MEP nevertheless agreed "
that there was music
" and that he "
ended up lowering it
".
A complaint was filed the next day, December 14.
The investigations were entrusted to the reception and local investigations service of the 8th arrondissement (SAIP 08), said the Paris prosecutor's office.
